Ingredients:

For Cake Sponge-

  • 3-4 Cup Maida
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • ½ red food color
  • ¼ teaspoon yellow food color
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch salt
  • ½ teaspoon vinegar
  • ½ cup luke warm milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

For Frosting:

  • 1 Cup cream cheese
  • 3-4 cup non dairy cream
  • 4 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Direction:

  • Add vinegar in luke warm milk and keep aside.
  • Take a bowl and add baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder and all purpose flour and mix it well.
  • Mix sugar and butter and beat it for 3-4 minutes with the help of hand blender.
  • Now add all dry ingredients which were mixed in bowl.
  • Now add red food color, yellow food color, vanilla essence in luke warm milk and vinegar mixture and mix it well until it is melt completely together.
  • And now mix it with all dry ingredients and mix it all together with the help of hand blender.
  • Gently mixed it and if required add 1-2 tablespoon milk more into this.
  • Now pour this batter in a greased and lined cake mould. Flatten it with a spatula and tab it also.
  • Now bake it in a preheated oven for 25 minutes on 180 degree Celsius. And after 25 minutes take out it and check it with toothpick is it baked it completely or not.
  • Add cream cheese in a bowl and whip it and add vanilla essence and 2 tablespoon powdered sugar in it and mix it again all together.
  • In a big glass bowl add non dairy whipped cream and whip till soft peaks. Now add cream cheese in whipping cream. Fold and whip for 2-3 minutes more.
  • Add water in remaining sugar and prepare soaking syrup.
  • Here I have prepared two heart shape sponge cake. And now trim the cake top with a sharp knife. Now collect in a plate and make crumbs from the leftover sponge.
  • On a cake board apply cream and place a cake sponge. Soak with soaking syrup. Apply cream cheese frosting and spread evenly.
  • Place another cake sponge on it. Soak it also with soaking syrup.
  • Cover the cake with cream cheese frosting. Clean the edges of cake with a tissue paper and keep it in fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Place a star nozzle in icing bag and fill with cream cheese frosting. Make rosettes on the border of the cake.
  • Cover the mid part of the cake and sides with cake sponge crumbs. And you can also make a border with cream cheese frosting. Now it’s done.
